About Riders One

Riders one is a cycling club that rides to promote issues of sustainability

Our goal as a club is to enhance club members lifestyle by aligning them with sponsors that are making an effort to improve this planet through sustainable practices and providing the opportunity to network, train, ride, race and socialize with like minded cyclists.

Our goal is to inform and empower action that leads towards positive change in our society and we hope to accomplish this by building a community that is willing to learn, explore and creatively become ambassadors of sustainability.

We believe strongly in the principles of collective purpose, collective voice, and collective purchasing power. These principles guide our efforts.

We plan to create impact by putting on 1-5 events, where we will raise funds for a specific green or sustainable cause. We are planning our first big impact effort in the form of a Gran Fondo in May 2011 which will benefit the Infrastructure Academy... a non profit that works to put kids from low income areas into green jobs.

Our club is made up of individuals who are passionate about cycling and are wanting to learn more about how to lead a sustainable lifestyle.

Riders One is open to all facets of cycling culture and capabilities and we are based out of the Los Angeles area, but have members from across the globe. Join to learn, network, get involved, learn more about sustainabiliity, and RIDE.
